How to Retire a ComWeb Portal

This article will show you how to retire an individual association or an entire company. Retirement of a portal will prevent both owners and admins from accessing the portal. Please ensure the Company Contact setting is current and correct as they will receive a notification. Once the Retirement Date passes, admins and owners will not be able to access the ComWeb Portal. The Site Disabled Message will display after the retirement date, please update accordingly and click Save Settings.

How to Retire an Individual Association

  1. Click on Association Settings > Edit for the desired association.

  2. In the Portal Status section, Click Request Retire

  3. Select a Retire Date (the date must be at least 30 days out)
  4. Complete the Reason for Retirement and Requested By fields
  5. Click Submit 

  6. Click Edit Retirement Request if changes are required for the retirement date
    *NOTE: Edit Retirement Request must be an additional 30 days out. 
  7. The Site Disabled Message will display after the retirement date, update accordingly and click Save Settings
To remove the retired association from view, click the box in the "Hidden" column.

How to Retire an Entire Company

  1. Click Request Retire

  2. Select a Retire Date (the date must be at least 30 days out)
  3. Complete the Reason for Retirement and Request By fields
  4. Click Submit 

  5. Click Edit Retirement Request if changes are required for the retirement date
    *NOTE: Edit Retirement Request must be an additional 30 days out.
  6. The Site Disabled Message will display after the retirement date, update accordingly and click Save Settings.
